1984 VAMP Mark II: Attack Vehicle

The VAMP Mk II features several moving parts and the sculpt is nicely detailed.

The VAMP MK II is similar in construction to the VAMP and the Cobra Stinger. One way it differs is that the doors swing around from the front.

Another way it differs from the VAMP and Stinger is the 360 degree swiveling missile launcher with four Stinger XK2 missiles.

The VAMP MK II and the Stinger both feature larger dash and a more detailed interior than the original 1982 VAMP.

The VAMP MK II features two removable water cans, rather than the gas cans featured on the original VAMP.

The original VAMP Mark II was sold in stores in 1984 1985 and included Clutch v2 (AKA Tan Clutch). The same VAMP Mark II was reportedly re-released via mail order in 1988 and did not include Clutch v2. Years later Hasbro produced a light tan VAMP Mark II that was ​based on the 1989 Tiger Sting. Clutch came with a light brown helmet (pictured), but I prefer him in a dark brown one (from the first accessory pack).
