1989 Tri-Blaster (Battlefield Robot)

All four Battlefield Robots were designed by Guy Cassaday. He optimized costs by utilizing the maroon gun, missiles, and whip antenna on both Cobra Battlefield Robots and the gray wheels, green whip antenna, missiles and missile rack on both G.I.Joe Battlefield Robots.

NOTE: Although the box art showed Rock 'n Roll (v2) manning the Tri-Blaster, and he's pictured above, he did NOT come with it.

The Tri-Blaster's high speed dynamic lift control front air foil keeps it grounded at high speeds.

The "Mud Runner" high speed off-road four wheel drive tires propel the Tri-Blaster through any terrain.

The triple-barrelled "Tri-Blaster" laser cannon is manually rotated by the driver.

The "Track and Scan" auto-adjust missile / antenna rotation unit houses three AEA-56 "Quick Thrust" surface-to-surface terminal homing missiles.

The Tri-Blaster rotates 180+ degrees and the missile / antenna rotation unit rotates 90 degrees.

The Tri-Blaster is powered by an air cooled flat-six 360 HP fuel injected engine.

The steel core "Durapole" super duty antenna transmits and receives data and communications.
