​1984 Cobra A.S.P.: Assault System Pod

Wheels down and legs up, ready to be towed into battle.

The A.S.P. cockpit elevates for gunner access.

NOTE: Although the box art showed a Cobra Officer manning the A.S.P., and he's pictured above, he did NOT come with the A.S.P.

The Cobra A.S.P. features several moving parts and the sculpt is nicely detailed.

The A.S.P. was made to be towed into battle by the H.I.S.S. Its 120mm "Eliminator" cannons rotate 90 degrees from vertical to horizontal.

The A.S.P. digs in! Four retractable stabilizer pads fold down and the wheels tuck under.

The protective rollcage opens a full 90 degrees.

The pod rotation servo-systems enable the A.S.P. to rotate 360 degrees, a must when firing at Joe planes passing by.

The 120mm "Eliminator" cannons with flame arrestors are an intimidating sight.

The pod raising mechanism lifts the pod up 90 degrees for vertical loading and unloading.

Even the underbelly of the A.S.P. pod is nicely detailed.
