1990 Cobra Piranha

The Cobra Piranha, "A Depth Charge Firing Sea Marauder!" came armed to the teeth with four detachable, short-range torpedoes; a depth charge device that fires two depth charges; two detachable, longe-range torpedoes; and two pivoting machine guns.

NOTE: Although the box art showed Range-Vipers manning the Piranha, and he's pictured above, he did NOT come with the Piranha. 

​The Cobra Piranha features several moving parts and removable parts, and the sculpt is nicely detailed.

With the addition of the Piranha to Cobra's fast-attack naval forces, Cobra can sink any G.I. Joe vessel on the high seas within seconds!

The Cobra Piranha is armed to the teeth with four detachable, short-range torpedoes; a depth charge device that fires two depth charges; two detachable, longe-range torpedoes; and two pivoting machine guns.

The front features two multi-docking joint hook-ups, one on either side. The 12,000 HP, hydraulically energized, aqua power plant is housed up front, just behind these vents.

The lightweight, double reinforced, anti-torpedo/missile hull really floats.

The Piranha features four detachable, short-range torpedoes; two mounted on the spoiler and two mounted underneath the hull.

The rear features a super-charged engine thruster with high energy output.

The 1990 Cobra Piranha's hull and missile colors are reminiscent of the 1985 Cobra Moray's hull and missiles, and the Piranha features a shortened version of the Moray's logo.

The sides feature two side-mounted, sub-surface longe-range torpedoes.

The advanced, angle of attack, techno-cockpit features nice mold details and a black figure clip.

To the left and right of the cockpit are two high-velocity, pinpoint, self-implementing, target-sighting, depth charge launchers.

To the left and right of the cockpit are two fully-accessible "pop-in, pop out" machine gun emplacement stations.

Both machine guns swivel / pivot 360 degrees.

The Piranha features four detachable, short-range torpedoes; two mounted on the spoiler and two mounted underneath the hull.

Speed enhancing accelerator spoiler (or air foil) features two antennas and two short-range torpedos (which are also called surface-skimming, low noise concussion missiles on the blueprints).

Two long-range torpedoes were included.

Four missiles were included.

Two depth charges were included.

The rear features a super-charged engine thruster with high energy output.
