1987 Cobra WOLF: Winter Operational Light Fighting Vehicle

NOTE: Although the box art showed Croc Master and Techno-Viper on the W.O.L.F., and they're pictured above, they were not included.

I prefer my WOLF loaded with Snow Serpents. Removable skis provide an alternative method of transport, just don't ride the "ski-pedos!"

The Cobra WOLF features several moving parts and removable parts, and the sculpt is nicely detailed.

The WOLF features sintered-base skis with nitrogen compression shocks up front.

The WOLF features dual track propulsion units in the rear. Side-mounted personal transport platforms hold up to three troops on each side.

The WOLF's dual track units fold away and can be replaced by cross-weave carbon base skis.

Although the blueprints don't cover the WOLF's engine, there appears to be a jet intake on both sides as well as a rear blast port.

The remote missile launch panel opens to reveal four WHAM-4 surface to air missiles.

Up top, the WOLF sports “Ripper” pivoting 20 mm repeating cannons.

The gunner-operated fire control computer sits behind the remote missile panel.

The mail-order WOLF is identical to the retail release with the exception of black ski-pedoes, a black engine panel, and a black missile rack (seen here on the right).
