1991 Mercer: Mercenary v2
Includes: machine gun, grenade launcher, backpack with 88mm Stanford rocket launcher, missile, battle stand
1991 introduced oversized, spring-loaded weapons. These powerful weapons shoot over 10 feet. Mercer's pops into his backpack and slides along a track into a couple different positions. Above it is locked over his shoulder. Below it is locked in vertically.
1991 also introduced battle stands (once reserved for accessory packs and play sets) into some figure packages.
Mercer's missile launcher could also be hand-held.

None of this means that we like him very much, but then again, he doesn't like us very much either."
