The Slugger's most pronounced feature is undoubtedly its 175 mm howitzer.

The Slugger was sold in stores in 1984 and 1985. The Slugger was made available through Hasbro Direct (without the driver) from 1987 to 1991. These mail-order Sluggers were identical to the retail release until 1991, when the Slugger dropped the camouflage deco in favor of a solid dark green deco.
