1987 Crossfire: Radio Control Fast Attack Vehicle
NOTE: There are two versions of the Crossfire, clearly marked Alpha 27 and Delta 49. They utilize unique radio frequencies so two Crossfires could race each other. Also, although the box art showed Falcon riding on the back of the Crossfire, he was not included.

The Crossfire features several moving parts and removable parts, and the sculpt is nicely detailed.

Kirk Bozigian (G.I. Joe Product Manager) recalls how he and Greg Berndtson (R&D Vehicle Designer) flew all the way to Tokyo to develop the Crossfire in partnership with Nikko.

Guy recalls helping rough out the body design of the Crossfire, but also recalls being frustrated by the final product bottoming out on grass and carpet.
