The G.I. Joe Fact and Yearbook
The Triple Win sweepstakes was a contest in 1985 by Hasbro Bradley, Inc. through Ventura Associates, Inc. There was three ways to win: match the number "843" to win the grand prize; mail in your sweepstakes entry to win the prize listed or unclaimed prizes, or spell "G.I. Joe" with multiple game pieces to win the G.I. Joe Fact and Yearbook. The odds of winning the grand prize (giant screen TV, VCR & camera, and a G.I. Joe film library) was 1 in 3 million; "Play To Win" odds was 1 in 16,363. A minimum of 100,000 Fact and Yearbooks were guaranteed to be awarded.
The G.I. Joe Fact & Yearbook was 160 pages long and included four pages for stickers. Each sticker page in the "Personal Portfolio Of G.I. Joe Stickers" held six stickers, for a total of 24 stickers, the exact number of Triple Win stickers produced. The sticker squares were the exact size of the Triple Win stickers.
