1988 Night Storm (Night Force)

All eight Night Force vehicles (five from 1988 and three from 1989) were repaints. The Night Storm is a repaint of the 1987 Persuader.

The Night Storm features several moving parts and the sculpt is incredibly detailed.

The Night Storm plows through Cobra with its tubular construction front pushbar. Two extreme intensity “Night Light” halogen headlamps are also up front.

The Night Storm is a heavily armed attack vehicle with six “Dart-R” infrared assist SAM-37R missiles in the rear.

Up top there are two cannons: a smaller driver-operated single pulse laser cannon and a "Heatwave” 10 megawatt armor-piercing laser cannon.

The "Heatwave” 10 megawatt armor-piercing laser cannon features a “Low Glow” infrared assist target scanner at the tip.

The "Heatwave” cannon turret swivels 360 degrees. The driver's cannon swivels 180 degrees.

Personnel transportation battle platforms allow the Night Storm to carry up to six additional Joes into battle.

The Night Storm is powered by a 1200 HP turbine engine with “Quiet Thrust” quad mufflers and a rearward facing vertical-finned intercooler/radiator.

The Night Storm's torsion bar independent suspension system supports 10 all-terrain wheels.

Like all rereleased vehicles, the Night Storm bears the manufacture date of its predecessor – the 1987 Persuader.
