1988 Lunchbox (Aladdin)
This plastic G.I.Joe: A Real American Hero lunchbox was created by Aladdin Industries, who dominated the consumer lunch products category from the 1950s-1980s due to a strategic move in the early 1950s to license popular characters' images on its products.
The painted artwork featured on this lunchbox was modified from the 1984 Cobra Water Moccasin, for the 1988 Tiger Shark. Hector Garrido simply painted over the original Cobra Water Moccasin artwork to save time, which explains the similar angles on the vehicles and the similar poses between the Cobra and Joe characters. The included Thermos featured a line art version of Lifeline's Tiger Force card art.
