1986 "Action Figure Body Transfer" tattoos
Some 1986 figures (ex. seen here) included one of twelve "Action Figure Body Transfer" temporary tattoos.

1986 "Free! Sgt. Slaughter Action Figure" insert
This two sided insert was included with some 1986 figures (ex. seen here).
You could call in (for a 50¢ charge) or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to get a secret code that would replace one Proof of Purchase Certificate (you'd only need to collect four instead of five with this code). 1986-1988 "Five Free Flag Points" (direct mail postcard)
The two-sided postcard below apologized for delayed service and encouraged collectors to continue saving flag points and order again. While not dated, Kirk Bozigian (who was running Hasbro Direct at the time) recalled that this card went out "circa 1986-1988."

The two-sided folding postcard below disclosed a temporary stock shortage, and offered a full refund if the customer did not want to wait 30 days for the item to be back in stock.
